About

The geospatial dimension of cyber threat intelligence is often overlooked, but it can reveal powerful insights into the threat landscape. Use it to identify geopolitical effects, DDOS attack sources, or, in this case, the global spread of malware over time.

This is a visualization of the list of Botnet Command&Control (C&Cs) servers  tracked by Feodo Tracker between 2021 and early 2024.It shows the relationships between malware families and the IP addresses of the servers they control.

Use the time bar to see how the threats change over time or click a node to focus on one malware family. Zooming in to a country node shows how MapWeave's network layer can reveal local detail on demand. Click the map to reset.
