MapWeave's network layer allows you to summarize and simplify large, heavily-connected graphs such as transportation networks without losing the ability to provide detail on demand.

This demo shows a network of just over 4000 US flight routes, and uses MapWeave's adaptive opacity and link bundling features to show the most important airports and the most heavily travelled routes.

Try zooming in to reveal more airports, or clicking an airport to show all its associated routes. You can also switch off the clutter reduction features in the control panel to see what the raw dataset looks like.
